About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our public sector sales strategy. In this role, you will focus on expanding our client base among government agencies, towns, and municipalities by offering innovative technology solutions in AI, Cloud Migration, and Automation. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in solution-based selling and is passionate about driving digital transformation in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow our public sector client portfolio.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities through RFPs, RFIs, and direct engagement with government agencies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in municipalities and public organizations.
  • Promote and position our solutions in AI as a Service, Cloud Migration, Automation, and Permit Management Applications.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, and technical teams to create customized proposals and solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive lead generation and strategic account management.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging public sector technology needs.
  • Represent TechForGov.ai at industry conferences, expos, and networking events.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in the public sector or technology solutions industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value deals.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and contract vehicles.
  • Familiarity with technologies like Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, SharePoint, AI/ML Solutions, and Automation Tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing sales pipelines.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling SaaS products or digital transformation solutions to government entities.
  • Understanding of public sector pain points and how technology can address them.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
