PSAB 2026

From the Exhibition Floor to the Front of the Room: TechForGov Takes Center Stage at PSAB 2026

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; May 5th, 2026 TechForGov sponsored and participated in Government Innovation Pennsylvania, held at the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Himanshu Goil, CEO, and Amanda Coe, Head of Growth & Strategy, joined senior Commonwealth and county technology leaders – with Himanshu serving as a keynote panelist for the session titled “How Pennsylvania is Using AI to Power Smarter, Faster Government.”
Positioned as one of Pennsylvania’s premier public sector technology gatherings, the event brought together state agency leadership, county commissioners, municipal administrators, and public sector IT professionals to address the governance, risk management, and operational frameworks needed to accelerate responsible AI adoption across the Commonwealth
Sharing the Stage with Pennsylvania’s Digital Leaders
Moderated by Chris Devlin of the Public Sector Network and SAP, Himanshu Goil joined fellow panelists Amanda Martin, AI Committee Co-Chair at the PA Human Relations Commission; Keith Hartung, Director of Cybersecurity and Chief AI Officer at the Pennsylvania State Treasury Department; Mark Wheeler, Chief Information Officer of Montgomery County; and Tim Smith, Chief Information Officer of Berks County.
Together the panel addressed how Pennsylvania is actively moving AI from individual tools to standardized, repeatable government workflows — grounded in real operational use cases, responsible governance, and cross-agency collaboration.
Building the Case for Standardized, Trustworthy AI in Government
The keynote panel addressed a challenge that every Pennsylvania municipality faces: how to move AI from isolated pilots to workflows that any government team can adopt, sustain, and trust. A central theme of TechForGov’s contribution to the discussion was the concept of “Boring AI” — reliable, predictable AI that works consistently for municipal teams every day, building public trust through performance rather than promises.
Meanwhile, Amanda Coe engaged directly with state and county technology leaders — exploring how IGNA®, TechForGov’s AI platform built specifically for the public sector, can address real municipal pain points including permit management, citizen engagement, and compliance workflows without adding complexity to already lean government departments.
“It was an honor to share the stage with Pennsylvania’s digital leaders,” said Himanshu Goil, CEO of TechForGov. “At TechForGov, we believe that ‘Boring AI’ — the kind that works reliably and predictably — is the foundation for public trust. To scale effectively, we must move beyond pilots and build standardized, ethical workflows that support municipal teams every day.”

Hershey, Pennsylvania; May 31st, 2026TechForGov participated in the 114th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs (PSAB), held May 31–June 2, 2026 at Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Himanshu Goil, CEO, and Amanda Coe, Head of Growth & Strategy, represented TechForGov – engaging directly with borough officials across the Commonwealth on the exhibition floor and leading a dedicated workshop session on AI adoption in local government.
Hosted under the theme Celebrating America’s 250th: A Legacy of Freedom, A Future of Progress, the conference brought together borough officials, elected representatives, and municipal administrators from across Pennsylvania for four days of education, legislative engagement, and professional development.
Engaging Borough Leaders on the Exhibition Floor
On May 31st and June 1st, Himanshu and Amanda connected with borough officials at the Exhibitor Marketplace – demonstrating how IGNA®, TechForGov’s AI platform built for the public sector, supports municipal teams in streamlining workflows, improving citizen engagement, and maintaining high standards of public trust. Conversations across both days reflected strong and consistent interest from Pennsylvania’s borough community in practical, responsible AI adoption.
Leading the AI Conversation for Pennsylvania’s Boroughs
On June 2nd, Himanshu and Amanda facilitated the concurrent session “A.I. in Local Government” — one of the most timely discussions of the conference program. The session addressed the questions municipal leaders across Pennsylvania are actively working through:
“Not a week goes by that AI innovations are not covered in news headlines. Despite widespread enthusiasm for the rapidly evolving technology, many questions remain. At the local government level, what use cases make sense for AI deployment? What potential pitfalls should we be aware of when utilizing the technology? This session will offer a bring-to-date on AI in local government and address some of the questions surrounding its implementation.”
Participants explored practical AI use cases that support staff workflows, improve service delivery, and maintain the governance standards borough communities expect. Throughout the session, IGNA® was showcased as a reliable operational asset — one that augments daily borough operations rather than replacing the human teams that power them.
“Our goal at TechForGov is to provide municipalities with AI tools that work seamlessly alongside existing staff,” said Himanshu Goil, CEO of TechForGov. “IGNA® empowers borough leaders to focus on high-value decisions while automating repetitive lookups and citizen interactions. Responsible, predictable AI builds public trust and enhances community service delivery.”
