Those conversations touched on real, day-to-day challenges — finance and budgeting, governance, and the slow, steady work of modernizing municipal operations.
The agenda reflected those same priorities. Senator Vin Gopal opened with a keynote on regional collaboration. Intashan Chowdhury, Administrator of the Borough of Englewood Cliffs, spoke on artificial intelligence in local government. Joseph Monzo, retired CFO and owner of JP Monzo Municipal Consulting, covered finance and budgeting. Michael Rogers, Director of the NJ Division of Local Government Services, shared statewide updates. A closing panel looked at how mayors and administrators work together.
“New Jersey’s municipal leaders know their communities best,” said Himanshu Goil, CEO of TechForGov. “Our job at NJMMA was to listen first. That’s what shapes how IGNA® supports the day-to-day work of running a municipality.”
