TechForGov Hosts Executive Cocktail Party and Attends NJ GFOA Fall Conference 2026

Atlantic City, New Jersey; September 22nd, 2026 – TechForGov attended the GFOA NJ Fall Conference 2026, held September 22–24, 2026. Himanshu Goil, CEO, and Amanda Coe, Head of Growth & Strategy, and Amit Wadhwani represented TechForGov – engaging directly with New Jersey municipal finance officers, CFOs, and public sector leaders across all three days of the conference. TechForGov also hosted an Executive Cocktail Party, creating an intimate setting for meaningful conversations with New Jersey’s municipal finance community.
Hosted by the Government Finance Officers Association of New Jersey (GFOA NJ), the Fall Conference is the state’s premier gathering for public sector finance professionals – bringing together municipal CFOs, finance officers, and local government administrators for education, peer collaboration, and strategic discussion.
Conversations That Go Beyond the Conference Floor
TechForGov’s Executive Cocktail Party brought together NJ municipal CFOs and finance leaders for an evening of open, relaxed conversation – away from the formal conference setting. The informal environment created space for candid discussions around the technology priorities, budgeting pressures, and operational challenges shaping New Jersey’s municipal finance landscape in 2026.
These conversations reinforced a consistent theme: municipal finance leaders are actively exploring how AI and practical technology solutions can reduce manual workload, improve reporting accuracy, and support the governance standards that public sector finance demands. IGNA®, TechForGov’s AI platform built specifically for the public sector, was central to those discussions – offering finance teams a clear, accessible pathway to smarter municipal operations.
A Program Built Around Municipal Finance Leadership
The 2026 Fall Conference featured a strong program directly aligned with the challenges TechForGov’s solutions are designed to address. Lori Russo, CFO of Marlboro Township and President of GFOA, led a session on ACH Vendor Payments – addressing one of the most pressing operational priorities for municipal finance teams. Jon Rheinhardt, County Finance Officer of Bergen County and GFOA Past President, facilitated a session on Local Finance Board Successes and Failures – offering candid, practical perspective on the governance decisions shaping New Jersey’s municipalities.
Core conference topics included practical AI in municipal finance, website ADA compliance, municipal budgeting, and DLGS updates — all areas where TechForGov continues to build solutions that support rather than complicate the work of finance teams.
“The best conversations about AI in municipal finance don’t always happen in a conference session. By hosting our Executive Cocktail Party, we created a space where CFOs and finance leaders could speak openly about what they actually need. What we heard confirmed that IGNA® is solving the right problems – reducing manual burden, improving accuracy, and supporting the transparency that public sector finance demands.”
– Himanshu Goil, CEO, TechForGov
